OWENSBORO, KY - Sara Michelle Sampson, 20, of 610 KY 1554 Owensboro passed away March 6, 2010 with her family at her side, after a short 3 month battle with a rare form of liver and pancreatic cancer. Born May 11, 1989 to Ernie and Martha Sampson in Owensboro.

She was employed by TTMA-Toyota, she went through Holy Angels Elementary School & graduated from Apollo High School in 2007. She was a 4th generation of the Sampson Coal Co., a fan of Jimmy Johnson-NASCAR, She also enjoyed collecting Sylvester memorabilia, and a member of the catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Roy & Mary Sampson, & Ozzie Leathem.

Surviving are her parents Ernie & Martha Sampson of Owensboro, a brother; JR. Sampson, a sister; Tricia, a niece; Avasia and 2 nephews; Alex & Blaize also of Owensboro.

Services will be at 10:00am Monday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 12:00pm until 8:00pm Sunday and 8:00am until 10:00am Monday. Prayers will be Sunday at 6:00pm.Burial will be at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery following the service. Father Ed Bradley & Father Richard Powers will officiate.
